I took my first venture into the Midwest this summer and boy oh boy did I see things my previously uninitiated eyes had been unprivy to until that point.

My bestie, who works in stained glass conservation (flex), dropped me off here before she went off to conserve beautiful stained glass (epic), and I was genuinely in awe. The Cleveland Museum of Art has an absolutely gorgeous collection.

I was so overwhelmed by the beauty that I literally decided to move to another country after looking at some of the paintings. Not to Ohio, I should add (no offense), but still—what a wildly powerful cultural institution. Buckle up, Ohioans. You have a gem.
